Interior concepts for a hive/nest. A combination of elements from wasp nests and funnel spiders (nasty!).

Adventurers Ahoy!

Trying out a new paper cut-out style. It's a lot of fun to do and a nice break from the usual paint/render. Stay tuned for more!

environments

Thumbnail ideations for my forest/swamp environment. I swear I did these before I saw Avatar. After finally catching it before it leaves theaters, I can see why some of these reminded people of Pandora. Definitely no where as cool as it though. Maybe if they were in 3D or smell-0-vision.

Fat Tax

My Pro/Con piece for Barron Storey's class. I think its pretty self explanatory. I wish i had a burger like that though... with extra cheese.

9 panels

These are weekly 9 panel boards from Dave Yee's storyboard class where we have to create a story using the image that is given to us in the first panel. We can basically tell any story we want as long as it can be clearly portrayed through the 9 panels. Surprisingly, I've still yet to do one filled with blood and guts, but that'll probably come up sometime in the future.

Russell and Stewart

Character designs for Ariel Alvarez's post apocalyptic assignment. My story is about a future where the sun has burnt itself out and shrouded the earth in darkness. These 2 rebellious kids escape their colony in attempt to find their friend who has been captured by a mysterious presence in the darkness surrounding their city.

BFG

Some work from the BFG project last semester in Nino Navarra's class. Thanks to Alice Wong, Fred Stewart and Priscilla Wong for being awesome artists and teaching me tons throughout the project. A huge credit goes to them especially for contributing to the character designs. Go team!

kickin it old school

Some early digital paintings from my first viz dev class. Definitely came a long ways since these guys.
